Haven’t done a favourites post in a very long time, but recently there have been a few items that I’m really enjoying and I thought I’d share them.
Christmas themed bedding:
I bought this double-sided bedding set from Primark about two months ago. There is a very Christmasy side and then a navy blue, slightly less Christmas-y side which I’ve been showing until now when it’s acceptable to be Christmas-y. It’s warm, cute and was very cheap!
With the colder months here I’ve been investing in some long sleeved, warmer tops. I’ve really been loving turtle-necks at the moment, reminds me of my childhood when I used to rock the skivvys and overalls. I originally bought a black and white stripped top from Urban Outfitters and loved it so much that I got the same in black (yes, I have become one of those people). I also bought a grey and black turtle-neck jumper from Topshop (pictured above) and another grey top from Next.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera:
With everything being so digital these days, it’s been really great having an instant camera to capture some memories too. I loved having it in France and my flat and I have found a good use for it too. Each of us took an individual photo and pinned them on our pin board in the kitchen. It’s going to be great looking back at them in physical form, rather than flicking through Facebook and Instagram photos.
Not much to say. I just bought it because it was cute, I liked the colour and I love it.
Benefit ‘They’re Real!’ mascara:
First tried this when I was in Germany a few months ago and absolutely loved it. In general I really love Benefit, but this is definitely my favourite product.
Terry’s Chocolate Orange:
So I had no idea that we had these in New Zealand and I had never tried them before coming to the UK, but I love my chocolate and this is delish. A big thanks to my flatmates for encouraging me to buy one!
Urban Outfitters plaid scarf:
This has been an absolute life-saver the past month or so. It’s ridiculously long, but also ridiculously warm. Best investment I’ve made in a long time. Urban Outfitters is literally a dream.
Having a physical Urban Outfitters to go to has been a dream come true whilst being in Cardiff. I think I spent close to an hour and a half in there today. If I could live in the store, I would. It’s a bit hard on the pocket sometimes, but even just going in for a browse is so worthwhile. The atmosphere is so cosy, and I don’t know whether it’s because it’s so spacious and the decor is on-point, but I don’t feel super claustrophobic like I usually do in shops. UO is my happy place.
