So whilst in London over the New Years period, I did a bad thing.
I was already skint beyond belief, but somehow (and I honestly don’t know how,) I managed to buy a few treats for myself, while being cultural and also visiting museums.
The sales were crazy, and had I been raking in a bit more money, I would have gone full-out crazy. My friend also introduced me to a store that I’d never gone to before, Brandy Melville, which I absolutely love. A few of the things there are “one size fits all,” which I don’t completely understand. But either way, there were a few really cool pieces there.
So, here’s a few of the things I bought:
Cozy socks from GAP:
I wasn’t going into GAP to buy anything, and was just going in because my friend wanted to buy some jeans, however as soon as I saw these, I knew I had to have them, or I could give them as a present (seriously, you can buy me socks (as long as they’re cool socks) for a present and I’ll be happy)! They are super warm and come in lots of different colours.
Lingerie from Topshop:
There were some crazy sales in Topshop, however I restrained myself and stepped out with this pretty bra and matching bottoms. Both £20 and under!
Denim jacket from Forever 21:
This was the first time I had ever been into a Forever 21, and I had no idea that it was so cheap! Most of the things had been cheap as chips (ok, not quite, but close enough) and had I had a couple more quid I would have probably bought a whole bunch more.
Alien tee from Brandy Melville:
Love this store and love this top! The tees came in a few different colours and there was also a jumper which had the same, cute alien. Absolutely love this, and it goes well with my denim jacket.
Skater skirt from Brandy Melville:
Haven’t worn a skater skirt in ages, so I thought it was about time to buy a new one! I thought this one might be cute for when I go back to anNew Zealand summer and would go well with my Alien tee and my converse or blacks vans.
So, nothing too lavish at all here, but all in all, very happy with the small purchases.
