Food: Banana Caramel Crêpe/ Consumed: Häagen-Dazs in Nice, France/ Date: July 27 2014
This post wraps up the first month of Food Photo Friday! Here goes:
It was our final day in Nice, so Moana and I decided to treat ourselves to something for brunch before we went on our long train ride back to Paris, so whilst looking around, we stumbled across a Häagen-Dazs and thought we’d be a bit naughty and have ice-cream for brunch.
I went for my usual caramel latte and then got the wonderful sounding, Banana Caramel Crêpe. The menu described it as, “a warm crepe, a scoop of Dulce de Leche and a scoop of Banoffee, slices of banana all drizzled with butterscotch sauce, whipped cream and a scattering of caramelised hazelnuts.” How fantastic does that sound?!
It arrived looking deliciously beautiful and was unsurprisingly very sweet. It was nearly on the verge of being too sweet, but not quite! There was so much on my plate though, that I wasn’t able to finish it all! Definitely satisfying both for my stomach and my sweet tooth!
It definitely felt a bit strange having ice cream for breakfast though! Would you feel the same?
