Currently: June 2015

Here we are! Another month draws to a close and we are officially half way through the year!

This month made me very nostalgic as it marked the month I left New Zealand one year ago for my big trip abroad with one of my best friends Moana! I wrote a blog post about my trip highlights: “Throwback Thursday: Best Trip of my Life.

Anyway, here’s what I have been up to this month:

Reading: A lot of woman’s magazines. I’ve just starting an internship at one of NZ’s top woman’s magazines, Woman’s Day.
Watching: Orange is the New BlackI don’t know why I didn’t start this sooner
Listening to: I know I go on about Years and Years all the time. But I love, love, love “Shine” and “Foundation” at the moment.
Dreaming of: The day I will work for a magazine that I love.
Planning: A big trip which is still kind of under wraps at the moment. Keep an eye out for updates in the next couple of months.
Making: New connections thanks to my internship (I hope!)
Enjoying: My time off uni and learning the ropes at my internship
Eating: lots! I ate way too much while down in Wellington and now I’m tasting my way around the food places by my internship.
Excited for: My interview that’s coming up. It’s a bit of a secret at the moment though!
Goal setting: Find myself a job. I really need the money. Even though I don’t really need the stress.
Learning: About how magazines work. The different roles and processes that the team working on a weekly issue have to do and how it all comes together. Also learning a lot of new programs.
Lusting over: Still Tom Austen ok. He really is something special.
