Throwback Thursday: Best Trip of My Life

Yesterday marked the date that I left New Zealand to go on my own 7 month adventure armed with two suitcases, a camera and one of my best friends. It is by far the best experience I’ve had in my life so far, so thanks to some of the photos I posted on Instagram, I thought I’d share a timeline of some of my highlights (this is going to be hard,) of the trip below: This was taken as I farewelled my family goodbye at the departure gate. There were lots of tears, but as soon as I was through those gates I was a ball of excitement! PARIS June and July 2014: Moana and I were shown around Paris by a wonderful family friend. England: Bath and the Roman Baths

My biggest regret about going to Bath is NOT STAYING LONGER. Bath had been a bit of a stopover trip between us seeing the Stonehenge, to going to Brighton, so when we got to Bath we had 5 hours to explore. Since it had been a very spontaneous trip, we had no idea where to go and what to see, so first things first, we headed to the tourism office. When we got there we bought a ticket for the ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ buses that went around the main tourist sites. However, just as we were about to’ hop on’ one, we realised that the Roman Baths would close in a couple of hours and that was something we really wanted to see. So, we headed down to the Roman Baths. Bath is one of the prettiest places I’ve seen in England. I absolutely loved it there. It was very busy and bustling with life, but it didn’t seem huge and daunting like I sometimes find London. Because we spent so long at the …
