What’s On My TV Schedule? #2

A couple of months ago I compiled a list of all the TV shows I was watching, had been watching and wanted to watch titled: What’s On My TV Schedule? Now that a lot of the shows I mentioned have come to a season’s close, I thought I’d clue you all in on what’s currently on my TV schedule! I don’t discriminate, I’ll watch just about anything. Get ready for a melting pot of television shows! CURRENTLY WATCHING: (Season Running) Teen Wolf (2011): It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this show to come back and finally it did– with a double episode to go with it! Yes this is another supernatural TV show, but no it is not ‘just’ another one, it is THE one that I enjoy the most. If you’re a fan of Vampire Diaires or The Originals but are looking for something …

What’s On My TV Schedule?

For anyone who is unaware, I love television shows. I don’t discriminate, I’ll watch just about anything. So, I thought I’d quickly list a few TV shows I’m currently watching, just finished watching and will be watching soon. Get ready for a melting pot of television shows! CURRENTLY WATCHING (Season running) Outlander (2014): Literally my new favourite show. I watched the first half of the first season in one day. The second half has just started again, and I’m so glad I only just started watching it, otherwise a 6 month wait would’ve been torture. Many people have compared the show to Game of Thrones, so like, a Scottish version. I’m still not sure about the comparison, there is a lot of genre-blurring for sure, and it is definitely ‘up there’ in terms of quality television but I still haven’t made up my mind about what I think about this GoT comparison. I’ll get back to you on that one. Either way this show is all kinds of suspenseful, humorous, action-packed and sexy sexy sexy. Reasons …

75 Thoughts I Had Whilst Watching Fifty Shades of Grey

The other night I went to watch the very widely spoken about, Fifty Shades of Grey with two of my friends. Having read the book I definitely wasn’t expecting much, but felt like it was one of those obligatory films you have to see in the cinema, just to say you’ve seen it. I’m not going to bother with a proper film review, so instead, inspired by some similar posts I’ve seen on Buzzfeed, here are some of the thoughts that were going through my head (and also escaping from my mouth to the ears of my friends,) during the film. *SPOILERS AHEAD* OH NO. That lip biting is going to piss me off during the whole film, I can just tell. Kristin Stewart much? Okay, I’m so going to be ‘Twilight’ spotting throughout this whole movie. Of course she drives a rundown VW, they always drive those. Wow, everyone was so right, that secretary looks exactly like Jamie King… How is that NOT Jamie King? God that fall was absolute cringe. Hi Jamie Dornan. …

The Doctor Who Experience

While I haven’t grown up with the television show Doctor Who, I did get into the show a couple of years ago and now I would definitely count myself as a fan. Therefore it wasn’t right to not go to the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff, which is the only one of its kind. There are two parts to the Doctor Who Experience, the first part is the interactive part, where you are taken on a little adventure and need to help the Doctor save the universe. It was quite funny and quite enjoyable. My favourite part was definitely going through the forest of weeping angels- scary as hell, but also a lot of fun! That takes about 15-20 minutes (you’re not allowed to film or take photos, so you’ll just have to go by my word). The second part is where you get to have a stroll around the Doctor Who exhibitions, where there is actual set, props and costumes that you can look at, which is also super cool. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed …

Film Review: The Imitation Game

Last night I was a little naughty and instead of studying, I decided to watch a film that I’ve been wanting to see ever since I saw the trailer months ago. The Basics: Directed by: Morten Tyldum Starring: Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightly, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Charles Dance, Allen Leech, Matthew Beard, Rory Kinnear. Released: 29 August 2014 (Telluride Film Festival), 14 November 2014 (United Kingdom), 28 November 2014  (United States) The Plot: Based on the real life story of legendary cryptanalyst Alan Turing, the film portrays the nail-biting race against time by Turing and his brilliant team of code-breakers at Britain’s top-secret Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II (from IMBd). Thoughts: There were several reasons why I wanted to see this film, 1) it had Benedict Cumberbatch, 2) it had Allen Leech and 3) it had Matthew Beard, all actors that I have seen in other films and television shows and love and admire and 4) it looked like a hugely interesting story. The Good: …

Did I really go to that? Oh yes I sure did!

2 July 2014 So I’m going to be very honest right now… The reason I actually went to Germany was to go to a concert. And not just any old concert, but a 5SOS/One Direction concert. Yes, yes, yes roll your eyes, go ahead. But yeah, that’s me being honest. And overall, apart from not being able to see too much (shortness is not your best friend while in General Admission at concerts,) it honestly was a tremendously good concert and the boys were genuinely really good (yup, they can actually sing). We took the S-Bahn again to ESPIRIT arena and queued for about three to four hours, thank goodness we didin’t go any later because already, the line was incredible. So long, but worth it in the end! Anyway that’s all, here’s some photos. Ciao.

Queen Ellie and 2 Weeks to Go

Last night was my last day working at my job at Vector Arena for the year, and what better way to end it than seeing the beautiful and talented Ellie Goulding! Wow, she is amazing! In other exciting news, it is exactly TWO WEEKS until I am off on my adventures! The excitement is building, as are the nerves! Now it’s time to make sure all the paper work and things are in order. I also received my camera in the mail. I’ve been playing around with it and really liking it! I’m excited to start vlogging in a week’s time, don’t know what there is to vlog about yet, but I’ll find something! Hope everyone’s well! A
